Here’s an easy win when it comes to fundraising for a mission you love! Many employers match their employees’ charitable donations dollar for dollar. That means your own donation, or one from a colleague or friend, could automatically become double, and some companies will even triple it. The funds are there, ready and available for you!

How it works

Start with yourself. Check whether your own employer has a matching gift program through your HR department or employee benefits portal. Then, after a donor gives, follow up with a quick message: “By the way, does your company match charitable gifts? It takes two minutes and would double your donation.” They submit a short form, and their company sends an additional contribution directly to Friendship Circle. You don’t have to do anything. Make it a habit to mention matching gifts to every donor, especially those who work at larger companies. It’s one of the easiest ways to grow your total without making a single extra ask.
